IC
Name: Castiel
Canon: Supernatural
Canon point: 15x18 : Despair, following the events toward the end of the series where it's written that Jack pulls him out of The Empty to assist in rebuilding heaven
Age: While no canon-specific age is stated it's remarked upon by Castiel when speaking of his history that he'd been alive long before humans occupied the planet. Given that, it's safe to say that Castiel is anywhere from several thousand to several billion years old. He's older than the sun and earth and his species took precedence canonically before mortal life ever did. This being said his vessel and the man that he hosts, Jimmy Novak, is in his late thirties to early forties and this is the appearance he will be taking in the game.

History:
here

Personality:
Strengths
Skilfull:
His ability to think outside of the box has aided him on multiple occasions in more than just a physical capacity. He applied astrophysics/unbranched levels of scientific acumen to evade Naomi's pursuit by hiding within the Biggerson's franchise. More than that, he's continually found alternative means of accomplishing goals that no one considered prior. His attention to detail, and his ability to think quickly make him an important part of the team. It also makes him a formidable opponent and enemy to have.
Dedicated:
The most significant of his qualities is how deeply he gives himself over to his responsibilities. His will to succeed goes far beyond that of any of his brothers, and his sense of priority and responsibility are major driving points for him. His loyalty is absolute, Castiel would never abandon a friend and will exhaust all resources to see a plan through. The undivided attention he gives to his goals and projects is all-consuming. This can directly tie into his skillfulness as a means of inertia and momentum.
Altruistic:
Castiel has found a way to incorporate this sense of sacrifice into something far more formidable. He readily charges into the line of fire for those he deems friends. Time and time again, despite any mental or physical struggles he's dealing with, Castiel puts his needs behind the cause. Through these actions, he deviates from what is typical of the angels because, for him, there are no limits to what he's willing to do. If it can help fix a problem or right a wrong, there is nothing he won't do. This also applies to his morality and mental state.
Introspective:
Through a mutual vested interest with the Winchesters, Castiel learned to open up to different ways of thinking. The ability to doubt, look past orders, and learn things on his own has been a source of power for him. It's also gotten him into trouble, as far as heaven is concerned there is little room for thinking or disobeying. More than once, he's been brought back and re-indoctrinated because of his knack for questioning orders and being too close to emotions.

Weaknesses
Pious:
He's no stranger to his own standing and has no problem pointing out flaws in the logic and capability of others because of it. He is arrogant and defiant toward what he considers to be beneath him and intolerant of displays of ignorance. There is no shortage of ego, and as long as he is triumphant in what he's trying to accomplish there is little time to focus on the irrelevant. This can lead to misinformation and a lack of understanding where humanity/empathy is concerned and has caused many failures when others play into his confidence to manipulate him.
Stoic:
Metatron got tired quickly of Castiel's inability to grasp simple references and concepts, so he uploaded the wealth of pop culture into his genetic coding. This has helped some but doesn't do much to thwart Castiel's often maladroit personality. His age and creed keep him a mundane member of the Winchester's team, and despite opening up considerably since the beginning, he hasn't done much to sway from his own social ineptitude. There's no going out of his way to alter it, and often it can come across as cruel and callous but ultimately it's something he's learned to rely on - and has very little to do with his ability to adapt. It's easier than adjusting to an ideal or countenance that isn't his and despite multiple reminders, he has made no effort to declare himself any differently.
Impatient:
More than once his self-sacrifice has made matters worse instead of better. The need to follow through, right his wrongs, and be successful in all endeavors is a constant. Settling is beneath him, and idle hands are an irritant he refuses to accept. At the cost of everything, he'll follow through on his orders or directive, and sometimes that cost and his eagerness to fix things as well as carry the guilt of failures are his own undoing.

Powers/Abilities:
Castiel's abilities are as follows. In terms of capabilities, his reach will be limited to the location he's bound in. He will not be able to see, fly, or move past the barriers that are there. The rest of the abilities may be nerfed or adjusted however you see fit.

Angels in Supernatural canon vary as far as abilities and strength are concerned, Castiel, however, has been spoken of often as a lower-tier or division angel, and therefore his powers aren’t as considerable as the alleged four archangels and the prowess that they show canonically. All angels are required to have the consent of their vessels before using and possessing them and all vessels are designed well beforehand and born through blood and breeding.

• Castiel’s true form is the size of the Chrysler building, roughly, as spoken by him in canon.
• Angels have the ability to raise the dead, heal, exorcise demons, and transport people from one place to another by touch alone. They have also been known to ward charges against evil or others of their kind through a touch (as proven by Castiel and the Enochian sigils that he carved into the ribs of Dean and Sam simply by reaching out and pushing his palm against their chest.)
• They’re highly durable while in their vessels and are impervious to all human weapons. They can only be killed by another of their kind or with an angelic sword.
• Angels can warp time and transport or move within the future or the past. Castiel can do this but it exhausts him and leaves him unable to do much more after the fact, winded and in pain.
• Angels have an ability called Angel Radio wired directly into their genetic makeup. It consists mostly of other angels speaking Enochian (their native tongue) on the same frequency and it can even key into mortal prayer as well.
• Castiel seems to gain power when weak by touching the soul of another person, he can also see their souls when doing this and can sense their strength and/or vulnerability.
• Angels quite literally fly from place to place with such an intricate velocity that it’s unable to be seen by human eyes. It’s keyed into their wings (Castiel’s which he’s shown twice in canon) and allows them to move from one place to another within seconds and is seen by most of humanity as teleporting and teleportation. They appear in whatever place they’re needed with nothing but a flutter of wings. As spoken of above, angels can also do the same with other people by pressing two fingers into their temple and carrying them along with them on their journey.
• Angels have no need to rest, use the bathroom, eat, drink, or bathe. They can simply will themselves clean and it’s as if time has stopped for their vessels in question. They don’t age and it takes very much to kill them or make their powers dwindle.
• Their senses are also very keen. They’re able to pick up on other creatures immediately and can sense an entire area, sometimes further, for the sole being, they're looking for searching with mostly their mind and the power that is on their faculty.
• All of this ties into their grace, which is essentially what makes them angelic and keeps them as strong as they are. When their grace has expired, or they have willingly given it up, they’re little more than mortals but incredibly aged beings in the body of whichever vessel they’re inhabiting.

Regret:
While Castiel does not regret his admission to Dean Winchester he regrets the circumstances that followed. Being tasked to help rebuild heaven left him distracted and misaligned, and his own fear and Jack's needs blindsided him to what was going on with Dean and the family he'd left still on Earth. The way Dean died, never following up with him, and allowing heaven to get into the state it found itself are all part of his regret and his deal would be to prevent the loss and keep his family together despite the constant sacrifice.

Suitability:
Castiel is introduced as an agent of heaven, tasked with pulling Dean Winchester out of hell and then ensuring his fate. In his time spent with Dean and his brother, he begins to feel. Something his brothers consider "doorways to doubt," he is brought back to the host and reindoctrinated for the very same thing. Being made and unmade doesn't stick and with time and the realization that his family and his orders are wrong Castiel rebels, chooses humanity over heaven, and helps the Winchesters prevent the apocalypse.

He is inquisitive by nature and though a soldier by trade is unafraid of being unaware or unfamiliar with a situation. His lack of social graces hasn't ever stopped him from trying, he's diligent, loyal, and uncompromising when he feels he's doing what is right.

Despite being no-nonsense and tactical by way of his creation he's also uncharacteristically empathetic thanks to his experience with emotions being largely new and uncommon for an angel of his status. He is wise beyond his years and has been able to apply what he knows emotionally to his own intellectual pursuits just fine for someone that is learning to navigate feelings. He has a fine-tuned attention to detail and an indefatigable sense of duty.

Given the circumstances of Ximilia, and being no stranger to the nature of quid pro quos he'll be more likely to trust the input of other travelers like himself than those more experienced with the environment. He'll come to his own decision with regard to the state of each location, and the nature of the mission, but won't take anything, anyone says at face value and will come to conclusions his own way.
