CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: Castiel
CANON: Supernatural
AGE:
While no canon specific age is stated it's remarked upon by Castiel when speaking of his history that he'd been alive long before humanity occupied the planet. Given that, it's safe to say that Castiel is anywhere between several thousand to several million years old. He's older then the sun and earth and his species took precedence canonically before mortal life ever did. This being said his vessel and the man that he hosts, Jimmy Novak, is in his late thirties to early forties and this is the appearance he will be taking in the game.

CANON POINT: 10x02 ("Reichenbach")

BACKGROUND: A multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent.
INCENTIVE:
Due to being responsible for the dismantling of heaven, Castiel agreed to live within the city under the terms of having his grace restored and the garrison back in order. As much as he might have wanted to barter for Dean and Sam's sake, the whole of his home being brought back to its superlative condition would aid them all long term. It seemed like the most fitting deal, and when it hit the table after some believable evidence was provided Castiel chose to accept. The terms and conditions were tolerable given the agreed upon outcome. The guilt he carries with him both for his family and the state of the world made it difficult to focus on a solution, especially while the stolen grace rendered him incapable of fighting the issue head on.

FIT:
As much as Castiel might be the least interested in emotional attachments or initiating them given what he's gone through there's not much he wouldn't do to absolve himself of his crimes and the chaos he's responsible for. His body has been rejected the grace he stole like a body might reject an organ transplant and over the course several weeks, Castiel has been steadily getting weaker and is near death at home. With people who are (blindly) loyal to him continually putting themselves on the line for his benefit. At home, he's more of a hindrance than a help so when the offer was extended to him it felt like a benediction. He couldn't turn it down.

It's easy for Castiel to put his own desires and fears aside for a bigger cause and while it might be difficult for him at first he will eventually wind up in a position where he can fulfill his end of the deal. Given that the city has kept him in halfway decent shape so he can abide by the contract it won't be hard at all after he settles in and finds a nest egg. Anything that happens beforehand will be Castiel developing a learning curve and an understanding of his new environment. Past experiences aside, he's not an invalid, he's a warrior and he's very aware of his own beliefs as well as vocal about them.

CONSENT:
The issue of consent has never been in question for Castiel, his entire function and ability to walk the earth requires it. Given what he's seen, and been through Castiel knows too much about humanity and the emotional intricacies of that to ever violate it. He's had to request help from Dean and Sam more than he's comfortable with, and has been made to face his own vulnerabilities. Knowing how easily they could have taken advantage of it, makes him much more aware and respectful of when other people afford him the same trust.

Samples: My "people skills," are "rusty."

Anything Else:
Castiel will be bringing his angel blade, but considering his current canon point won't need a permissions post or any power nerfing just yet. Instead of the trench coat and slacks he'll be considerably dressed down, which may further allow him to seek and pursue work while within the city.
