Backtagging: Absolutely. I live in a constant state of juggling my backtags with my current tag-outs. It can be done into infinity.
Threadhopping: Just get with me first to decide where something is going, how far forward something is moving within the thread and I'm sure I'll be on board.
Fourthwalling: Ask first pls. Castiel will likely think he's been heard of via theology or the Carver Edlund series so prominent in his own reality that highlights the shows happening congruently.
Offensive subjects within the canon of Supernatural (TV):
Much of the mythology of Supernatural draws on religious lore, particularly from the Abrahamic religions, although it is often altered from accepted canon. It is known to be sacrilegious in nature and plays on the idealogy that God Doesn't Careβ’
Deities and stories from many other religions including Hindi, Pagan, Wicca, Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythology also appear. Representations of paganism and Wicca in Supernatural have been criticized as portraying the followers and deities as evil and violent. The depiction of the Hindu gods Ganesh and Kali in 5.19 Hammer of the Gods were deemed highly offensive by the President of the Universal Hindu Society.
As a fan of mythology myself I'm aware of this and do what I can to circumnavigate the poor narrative choices. Racism is a focal point within the franchise showing few exceptions for the tolerance of other monster race(s) such as vampires, werewolves, demons, leviathans, etc.
There's also a long-standing farse humor regarding the United States its government, and the other governing bodies of the world. The British Men of Letters and the nature of the storyline is full of jokes at the expense of cultural resentment on both sides.
Supernatural features gory deaths of both human and supernatural characters by a variety of means in most episodes. Guns and knives are commonly used, as well as other weapons. Blood, human organs, and dead and dismembered bodies are frequently seen.
While never explicitly stated, it is strongly suggested that sexual violence and rape are tools of torture in Hell. On a number of occasions, Dean makes veiled references to it and Lucifer strongly infers that he sexually abused Sam while he was in Lucifer's Cage.
There are broader issues related to dubious or non-consensual acts throughout the show, particularly related to the possession of humans by both angels and demons, Sam's "body swap" experience in 5.12 Swap Meat, and the use of "love spells" in 4.08 Wishful Thinking and 7.08 Season Seven, "Time for a Wedding!"
Toxic Masculinity is an overarching theme of the show and the situations in which the two main characters were raised. In 3.05 Bedtime Stories when Sam talks about the details of the fable of Cinderella, Dean says, "Dude, could you be more gay?" The slur "prostitute" is used by characters in both 3.04 Sin City and 8.14 Trial and Error. Throughout the Super Wiki the term sex worker is always used, unless it is a transcript of dialogue from the show.
A number of gendered insults, particularly "bitch," are used liberally throughout all seasons. The show has a history of fridging gay characters, killing women off to promote plotlines for the male interest of the show, and more.
Castiel himself is largely gender-fluid and utterly indifferent to sexual orientation but the fact remains that the show plays on the blue-collar "pick yourself up by your bootstraps," lifestyle and all that it implies.
Suicide, Depression, Mental Health, and more all play a regular role in the series as does war, famine, death, and a general overwhelming reality of human suffering.

Hugging this character: YES, but it'll be a rare day that Castiel will initiate it since he's so not a hugger and he might be weird about it and not even reciprocate.
Kissing this character: Do it. Make out with his face. Ask me first though, lol.
Flirting with this character: HE MIGHT NOT CATCH IT, or he might spurn your affections, but go for it.
Fighting with this character: Yes, but reach out to me first because he's got a pretty significant powerhouse negl.
Injuring this character: Upon discussion.
Using telepathy/mind-reading abilities on this character: Yes, this is fine. Reach out to me and I will find a way to convey emotion, feeling, and thoughts where Castiel is concerned and within the context of the thread.
Personal Content Warnings: I prefer not to play out animal abuse or non-con to any length. Anything else just needs a warning or asking for and I'll discuss it!
[CASTIEL'S ABILITIES]
As an angel of the lord Castiel has quite a bit of experience and a long list of talents.
combat: A soldier by nature fighting isn't something uncommon for Castiel and he's learned to do so while occupying a vessel. he's strong and capable with both guns and his sword, as well as fisticuffs. he's much stronger than a normal human being and doesn't fall short where equilibrium is concerned. with no need to breathe and therefore no clear physical constraints he can continue fighting until he's struck down or the victor.
healing: For the purposes of this environment Castiel is capable of stabilizing grievous injury. He won't be able to heal fatal illnesses or wounds but minor lacerations and contusions will be within the scope of his ability and he will be able to heal them.
angel radio: is an ability that is intrinsic to him and allows him to hear other angels from his own world as well as the prayers of mortals should he so choose. this ability is opt-in and left to the player's discretion.
flight: Within the parameters of the game Castiel can and will be able to fly to any place without magical barriers within the threshold of the Free Cities. He will be unable to transport others and limits placed on teleportation and portals for events will apply to him and his mobility as well.
sensing: Castiel is able to pick up on other creatures immediately and can sense an entire area, sometimes further, for the sole being, they're looking for searching with mostly their mind and the power that is on their faculty. this applies to whether or not they're human, their emotional state, and more. this ability will be opt-in and left to the player's discretion.
power gain Castiel can gain power when weak by touching the soul of another person, he can also see their souls when doing this and can sense their strength and/or vulnerability. Gaining power from a soul is incredibly painful and dangerous and will likely not be used that often, when it is it will be opt-in and left to the player's discretion.
telekinesis: All angels seem to have a natural ability to move items and people by use of energy and mental power alone. Castiel isn't heavily reliant on this skill and typically goes without using it unless it's a matter of necessity. This also manifests in being able to alter electromagnetic frequency, and manipulate things like televisions and vehicles. He's also used pyrokinesis to burn through ropes he's been bound in.
torture: Castiel's proficient in the art, enough so that alternate versions of himself have made a name for it and even have gone so far as to introduce it into their ability for memory alteration and recall. given his own history with indoctrination and the nature of being unmade and remade to suit his garrison's purposes he will be reticent to breach it and won't participate unless it's a matter of necessity. even then, it's unlikely to be anything more than physical in nature.
astral projection: All angels can project shadowy forms of their wings onto surfaces at will. If one is killed by Angel Blades, its wings are burned onto the surface on which they died.
dream walking: Angels can appear in people's dreams, they usually use this to communicate, when they can't find the person they're looking for, or want to talk privately. this ability isn't one that Castiel uses particularly often preferring real-time communication but it will be of course opt-in ad left to player discretion if it is used at all.
multilingualism: Due to their age, angels are proficient in most, if not all, languages ever spoken on earth. Castiel has proven to be proficient in Latin and Ancient Canaanite, both dead languages, and Alternate Michael succeeded in quoting a verse from the Quran in perfect Arabic.
sedation Angels can render humans unconscious with a simple touch, this will be left to the opt-in second and left to player discretion.
super stamina: Castiel never tires, and they do not require food, water, oxygen, or sleep to sustain themselves. These things only apply when Castiel himself is injured or under some kind of physical, mental, or emotional distress.
magic/spells: In his time working alongside the Winchesters and even through interactions with Crowley is incredibly proficient with spell work and shows the attention to detail necessary as well as the physical and emotional resolve to complete them successfully.
